How we collect, use, store and protect the information you share with us.

Who we are

Luxorphe Studios is a photography studio and creative collective working in Toronto, Montreal and New York. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, where it is kept and how you can control it.

Person in charge of privacy

The founder of Luxorphe Studios is the person in charge of protecting personal information. Write to [email protected] or call 514-779-9409 with any question or request about your information.

What we collect

  • What you send through our contact form: your name, phone number, email, country, the service you need, your shoot or event date, your budget, your company and your message.
  • What you send us by email or phone when planning a project.
  • If you book with us: the details we need to deliver your project and invoice you, such as billing contact, address and payment records.

Our website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, plan and deliver your project, invoice you and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising. We send you news or offers only if you ask to receive them, and you can stop at any time.

Who can see it

The founder and the members of our collective who work on your project. We also rely on a few service providers, who handle your information only on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare hosts our website and the secure database where enquiries and client records are kept.
  • Formspree forwards contact form messages to our studio email.

Where it is kept

These providers may store your information on servers outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States. We chose them for their security practices, and access to our records is limited to people we approve, who must sign in to see them.

How long we keep it

If you do not book with us, we delete your enquiry within two years of our last exchange. If you book, we keep project and billing records for as long as tax law requires, which is usually six years, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or have it deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its date.
